F1 2025 Discussion

Dang safety car ruined a couple great spots that had not been decided yet. Didn’t really seem like it was needed either
Don't know in this situation for sure, but they should definitely err on the side of caution if any marshals are on the track.

This thing is going to go down to the wire I think for the drivers championship. Max is never out and until proven otherwise I have no faith in the McLaren drivers not crumbling under the pressure.

Lando couldn't have been more dialed in this weekend but wtf is going on with Piastri. He has looked terrible since Baku.

The whole weekend was hella entertaining though.

It's almost like he has the yips if that is a thing in racing. He didn't drive to bad of a race. He was just terrible all weekend besides that and the cars at this point in the season are all pretty dialed in. I think he is in his own brain.

I thought yesterday's race was one of the most entertaining in years. So much strategy and drama. Sucks about the VSC at the end but is what it is.

Those first couple of laps were some of the wildest F1 racing I've seen in awhile. Refreshing after the last few races.

I was ok with the VSC, Sainz parked it in a pretty safe place but there was still definitely some risk while they were getting it out of there. I was just wondering why they couldn't just leave the car until the race was over, best of both worlds.

Piastri looks like he could be committed to a padded room in a straight jacket at any minute. I think that pressure is really getting to him. Lando has looked out of sorts at times but he's seemed like he has been locked in the last couple of weeks. As I see it right now this titles is Lando's to lose.

I just want to say I'm really hoping Disney and YouTubeTV get their **** figured out for this weekend but it's not looking good for that right now.

I'm just fully expecting to miss everything this weekend. Luckily it's not a double header so we have another 2 week window after Brazil.

I'm ready to pirate things again. I really did try to be a 'good consumer' and be sure to pay for things. But the level of greed that has happened with streaming is progressing to stupid levels and no longer care to play their game.

As for the actual racing this weekend, I'm just interested in what the weather will do. Looks like Saturday could be a wet mess for the sprint/qualifying. If they have a wet qualifying or sprint race that would good news for Max, as I'm certain he's going to dominate any racing in the wet conditions.

Sunday looks dry, but Brazil always has surprises. Rain on Sunday is the one avenue I see for Max really getting into a true title shot (barring both McLarens having a DNF somewhere down the stretch). He's just so much better than everyone else in those conditions.

Damn at this Bortoleto wreck:

Honestly that was nuts. Was their moisture on the track or something? You don’t see a guy just flat miss on braking that bad very often.
