Don't know why you wouldn't switch Lando and Oscar on that last restart. Doubt Lando wins, but you have to give him a chance.
I said the same thing to my wife. I doubt it matters in the end, but the call to Piastri should have been, as soon as you get up to speed after the restart, Let Lando go. Not so much that I cared who won, it just seemed odd, as quick as McLaren has been to make Lando move to let Piastri go by in races past that they didn't make that call ASAP in this race. Their only chance for a win was to have Lando behind Max ASAP.

Have to wonder if some teams will get ‘balls’ with the 2 pitstops requirement … i could see mercedes coming for a quick change after start
Yeah I think someone in the back will do it, there’s even been talk of pitting the first two laps and then praying until the end.

The double pit first thing would be seriously ballsy. One hell of an undercut though. You lose what ~25 seconds for pitstop (not sure at Monacco)? Lap is probably 75-80 seconds at the start of the race? You would be dead last by lap three but if the race avoided a red flag and you could nurse the hards all the way through, you could end up in first and just stay there...

At least they tried something different. But even with 2 stops, that sucked.

I think the next thing to try, scrap the race and have a really big quali weekend. Award points by fastest lap. Otherwise, it is time to drop this race

I didn’t think that was a terrible Monaco, there was at least some strategy happening all the way up to the last lap.

Good to see Lando find that confidence in the car again.
