Erin Andrews leaving ESPN

Thank you. When did we start expecting/demanding that Erin Andrews, Jenn Brown, etc. become the next Bob Costas? They are REPORTERS, not analysts or play-by-play men.
There used to be a guy on here who would slam Andy Katz every chance he got and scream about how much he hated him for just reporting on ESPN what he had heard from coaches, etc. Huh? THAT'S HIS JOB. Why are you yelling at him for doing his job?
Let me explain this to you...there is actually a big difference between writing an opinion on here in a way that can get your point across, even if it's an opinion that goes against the grain and/or is unpopular. Then...there is your way, which seems to be to make your point in a hate-filled, borderline misogynistic manner that is overly and unnecessarily personal and which in turn makes you look worse than your intended target, in this case Erin Andrews.
If you can't figure that out than that's your own damn fault.
If it acts like a troll and reads like a troll....guess what? It's a troll.
BTW, thanks for trying to insult my wife by comparing her to Precious, but I'm not even married. Better luck next time.
Oh, I'm not mad. Just pointing out at what I see is the occasional absurdity of some posters on this site. Unfortunately (once again IMO) the absurdity doesn't seem as occasional these days, as there is much more of it.
Why? Because I capitalized a few words to emphasize my point?

You got all that from me saying Erin Andrews is a hack reporter? Actually a 6'3" 270 pound out of shape commercial plumber recovering from a dislocated shoulder. Middle classish, living somewhat paycheck to paycheck. Excuse me for getting defensive about being called a troll on a message board I've been an active poster on for 2+ years & being told my wife is a hog.
I don't find it necessary to post a "bump" or a "+1" 9000 times. 759 posts is a about a post a day for the 2 years I've been here. 43,000,000 credits? Get on my level of winning cy bookie bets.

I have no idea what the h*ll happened in this thread, but if you look back you will see that it was RebecaCy who wrote that she's hot but a terrible sportscaster, not me, even though it was mistakenly assigned to me in one of his posts.
As for Erin's job performance, I thought it was just fine for a sideline reporter, which is what she was, while also doing occasional interviews and "puff pieces" on athletes for College Gameday. I didn't expect/demand that she give me insight on the complexities of the corner blitz on 3rd and 6 the way some posters in this thread apparently did.
This should have been the last post in this thread, then it should have been closed before people got upset.
Erin Andrews, very pretty, but a really bad reporter.
