Emmanuel Malou

He would help ease the loss of Niang though. Two years of him would be awesome but unlikely. He could go Pro after one year here, if not sooner.

Sooner than one year here? What do you mean by that?

go Pro? Are you being serious, I can't tell. I suspect he's good ,but is he 'that type' of good?

Nobody is going to know until he plays some real competition. He's like a MLB prospect, most likely to fall short, but he has the tools if he can put them together.

Exactly. He's got the size and athleticism though. Can dribble, drive, pass, and even shoot from deep.

Who cares if he only plays one year here (even though I think he will play both) because he's that good? If he's that good then his one year at ISU will be pretty darn special. Stop crying, some of you. That being said, he will play two and he WILL come to Iowa State.

If he is in fact a real person. Not convinced yet. He will either be really good or every time we lose cyclonefanatics resident basketball experts will be convinced its because Malou is not getting much playing time. The same people who want sdw to get playing time.

He's not going pro after this year. Just stop

You must of missed the part where I said he probably won't. Pretty sure you were one of the guys to attack me for saying it about David Irving and BDJ too, and look at where they are. Normally I'm right when it comes to talent.

The guy only has two schticks:
1. Overhype talent
2. Attack people with the "you don't know (insert sport)" retort.

People gotta go with what they know.

Haha.

As a freshman at Yuba College, Malou filled up the stat line. He produced 14.7 points per game on 54% shooting from the field (47% on 3-pointers), and grabbed 8.5 boards per contest. He hit almost 70% of his free throws and rejected 77 shots in 23 outings from his wing position. He handles the ball very well for a player of his height, showing solid fundamentals in dribbling and ball-handling, as well as pushing the pace in the open court. He is a perimeter face-up player at this point, but his length and wingspan do help him when he has to go inside defensively. He'd need to add strength to his current 215-pound frame in order to develop his inside offensive game, but his smooth shooting touch and ability to both drive and pop jumpers are making him an increasingly attractive target for Division I schools.

@JucoBasketball: JUCO Insider: Emmaneul Malou has had 6 NBA teams in to see him & strong interest from 4 major programs.

Malou's game really reminds me of Will Clyburn except he looks more aggressive to the hoop.
