Emmanuel Malou

I'm sure he can develop a low post game very quickly. He doesn't look very raw to me. Looks like he's already skilled dribbling, passing and shooting. Way more so than RW ever was.

The behind the back pass and the jumper look the opposite of "raw" for a 6'9" kid. Hate feeding hype but he reminds me a ton of Luol Deng in terms of frame, length and skill set from that video footage. Again who knows, but in some ways that footage looks even a little more polished than Deng did early, he was still developing a lot when he got drafted.

WANT. This is the kind of guy along with McKay that we are going to be building this program around. We'll never get the "Center" that everyone has the major hard on for but we'll have more traditional sized forwards 6-8, 6-9 that can handle, shoot, block shots, and run. I envision us as a Cincinatti in the late 90's type of style with Kenyon Martin and Dermarr Johnson. This is how we'll overtake KU.

If someone he played with got $500 without him knowing it he won't be able to play for ISU. But if an ISU booster gives his dad $250,000 and he doesn't know about it, we'll win a national championship and have no punishment at all.

At least that's the precedent from a few years back and I know the NCAA is consistent.

Are you old enought o remember CJ Bruton? Well that was the precedent that was set and they set it with ISU. Bruton was from Austrailia. Played on a summer league team where a guy got paid. Never suited up for us

Hard to tell if he's really that good or if he's just dominating junior high kids. Good looking shot though.

What is the deal with the grayshirt? Is it to make sure he is academically ready to play college ball?

his frame + athleticism + decent shot already + every player's shooting improving under Fred = I'm optimistic on this one if he is eligible, probably even more optimistic if he practices with the team for a year before playing

Like someone else said, the hardest thing to judge is if he can have a nasty toughness like Ejim and Hogue clearly do. There's zero way to know that from the film, but he clearly has great hands, hops and wingspan.

His team plays Jucos, so there are complete games online of him playing good competition. He has all the basketball tools, but is still raw in terms of playing basketball. Could be a big time player learning from a NBA guy like Fred.

Given his proximity I'd be shocked of he hasn't worked out with our guys. If Fred seriously wants him, I'm sure he's seen him play with legit competition

We'll still be built around shooters and scorers. It won't look anything like a Cincy team.

I remember being young and very upset by that decision. He got drafted by the grizzlies and then played oversees forever. He was actually from Kansas but moved to austrailia.
