No Morris on your list, huh? Are you thinking he's going to mainly be an assist guy vs. a scorer?

Also, on SDW, after our first exhibition game this year, I was most excited about SDW. I thought he looked really good. VERY fast with the ball, good shot, and just very smooth. I was really looking forward to him playing this year, but a RS year is even better for him IMO.

But yes, I think SDW will be a very good player for us. I also see him getting more minutes than both Long and Okoro.
I am a huge fan of Morris. I hope he is up there in scoring. I think he will be both an assist and scoring guy. Hopefully 7+ points and 3+ assists.

This whole class is exciting. There something about Okoro I'm most excited about.. But SDW has some real good skills shooting which we will really need next year. I know Capital City is a lot different, but over the summer Long looked just as good as Lucious IMO. He might not be as good, but I think he can be a good PG for us. Hopefully he's ready next year, but sometimes it takes a few years to adjust. Niang is obviously good.

Thomas and Morris are also steps in a better direction. Hoping Fred can keep bringing in better high school recruits every year.. Lets go get us Vaughn!

We just need Fred to recruit one more true big man that is on the same level as his guard recruits and we'll be in for a bright future

You really think Bluford will pan out? I'm kinda on the fence on how his productivity will be.

Yes just ask Bob Huggins he really wanted him bad one of the best 3 point shooters available. Great get this late he is a really good player,

This makes me smile...even if he isn't our BEST shooter, it's one less shooter for another Big XII team and one more for us. Keep stacking the deck and the wins will soon follow.

Not crazy. I hear he's a great scorer, can score on his own, handles the ball well, athletic, perfect size and length just needs some pounds and muscle, and don't know much about his d-fense. But you look at other guys currently on the roster and its hard to say if any of them could be draft picks over SDW. Of course all that doesn't matter because none of us have seen him play at a collegiate level. But SDW will be good, i can promise that

Fred mentioned SDW on call in show again last night. Very pleased with weight and strength gain this year.

Excited for the potential SDW has (along with Niang, Long and Oroko). Good thing for him and the program he was able to RS to get his body ready for BIG 12 play. I also liked the fact he was open to the red shirt year and realized this was his best way to impove his play for the future.

BTW, Is anyone awhere if CFH call in show is podcasted? if so, where should I look for it?

Both? I don't think so.

I agree. While I think both SDW and Thomas will be better scoring threats, and they'll be better at creating their own shot, they'll be RFr and Fr, and will likely suffer inconsistencies. Melvin will be a Sr, he's got a decent move to the basket, and he's REALLY good at being a garbage man.

That said, IF MT and SDW prove to score more than Melvin, we might be in for a surprisingly good season.
