I would assume no since the money thing is tied to student visas. My lazy understanding of the rule is work is limited to their studies. I.e. a foreign nursing student could work at clinics/hospitals in certain roles.

Not many grow at that age. I know some do and maybe it's related to taller people in general. E.g. I know a guy who was 6'4" at 18 then shot to 6'8" by 20. Then there's the short folks like me who topped out before turning 16.

I don’t think it is too unusual especially if they were late growers as you mentioned. My son grew from 6’2’ to 6’4’ since he has been 18. He turns 21 in three months so we will see if he is done. He has size 15 shoes and a 6’10’ wingspan so I could see another inch or something. He was a late “grower” but his feet kept growing! I know they said Pleta grew from 6’9 to 6’11 in a year as well.
