1. Well, tip off was 8am local (AK), and not being much of a morning person anyway, it was sort of weird to watch a basketball game while sipping coffee in my underpants.

2. Oregon played very well. I was sort of expecting the Ducks to come out flat like they did in the Fiesta on account of covid and bubbles, but Altman is a great coach and team was obviously ready to play. That Garza kid is totes amazeballs too, but the rest of his team didn't do enough.

I gather the Cyclones are playing the Hokies? Honestly haven't looked at that side of the bracket yet.

Apparently the price of our football team being good was for our basketball team to be awful. We fired our coach though, so hopefully better days are ahead. Thank you for smacking Iowa around today; it would have been unbearable around this state had they made the sweet 16.

I got no bones with the Hawkeyes (sorry) and am just happy the Ducks beat them handily enough it will quench the "Oregon doesn't deserve the Sweet 16 because they got a first round Covid-Bye" folks.

I thought, firstly, that "Hoks" referred to the Hokies and not a phonetic on Hawks. Second, I fruitlessly searched all over the forum like a tard for a BB thread called "Dis the Hoks". Third, of course, I assumed ISU was in the dance this year.

There is a reason my Mom wont buy me that box of crayons that comes with the sharpener.

Obligatory: Ha ha, Iowa sucks. Oregon beat down those arse clown Hoks so badly their inbred offspring will be born with black eyes.

Ps. Plenty of room on the Duck's tourney bandwagon for Cyclone fans who are looking for someone to root for.

I'll be rooting for you. You have a fun team to watch; kind of the blue print our new coach will try to copy. Small ball with skilled athletic guys.

Loved seeing the Ducks blow out the hoks. But now it's time to sit back and watch the Zags coast to the title.
 
Oregon looked and played like I thought Illinois would. And I picked Illinois to go all the way.
