**** daylight savings

My state elected to stay on permanent dst, screw needing Congress to allow us to.

Barring having health issues, complaining about this when it’s been around forever is pointless.

Calling people who don’t like the changing pussies is an odd flex as well.

Sending this thread to my congressman. Taking action.

It’ll be ok. Put on your stretchy pants and get out there. It’s a nice day. Walk a little further the next day and a bit further after that. Eventually the walks will get easier.

I'm not talking about myself.

I'm referring to people in my life that have conditions where walking can literally make things worse for themselves.

Such a weird response all around.

I don't normally mark posts as dumb, but there is no reaction emoji that says "look, an abled person who is completely devoid of empathy".

Reactions to different stimuli vary from person to person. We can't all be perfect like you.

I have nerve damage in my leg and foot. Walking a significant distance sucks. But the 1 hour time change has no effect on said condition. Yes I realize that certain autoimmune conditions, "could" be affected, but even this is minimal and short lived, and not exactly definite.

But you are making way too much out of the take a walk statement.

Pretty sure the statement to get out and get some fresh air and walk was them being facetious, and you took it way too serious. The point was it is an hour change, take a breath, and stop making it out to be so life altering. People adjust in a matter of a day or 2 and anyone that says they dont or its a bigger deal than it is are being over dramatic, and are exaggerating.

Your over emphasis on this point is the weird response.

You don’t know that poster very well then.

Staying up on the weekends = the sun's position in the sky changing by an hour, instantly.
LOL, don't say anything more, you've said too much already.
By Jove, I think you’ve got it!
Apologies to all My Fair Lady fans :)

The what? Same time here as it was last night. So simple and no effects anywhere (except my sports schedule).
This seems better than whatever you all are describing.

I think they should outlaw this days getting longer and shorter bull crap. Every day and every night should be 12 hours long - no more and no less. Don't they realize how having short little days with little daylight in the winter screws with people's mental health? Don't they realize how having ridiculously long days with tons of daylight screws with people's sleep?
