The only thing that stood out to me as “different” than I might have expected were two of the backup linebackers, where Hunter Zenzen and Cole Pedersen have been in the system much longer. But if CW is hearing good things about the freshmen, I’m quite all right with that!

Will McLaughlin will be Vance's backup. Not sure about Willich (Pronounced Willick)

With all the DB transfers this spring I still wasn't that worried about our secondary. But looking at the two deep without Craig McDonald has definitely got me worried. A RSFr in Verdon (who I'm not sure how much he has played to this point) and a true freshman backing him up is nerve wracking.

Seems like they are thin in some spots on the defense. Defensive backfield could be a weak spot. Coverage in general could.

Hasn’t Willich been rehabbing a high school injury? Hard for me to believe he’d actually be on the two deep.
He missed his whole SR year. I'd guess that he's rehabbed by now and went through spring practice.
