It would be nice to get that largest non-Iowa team crowd which would have to beat the 56,800 from #5 KSU in 2012.
It will be.

Iowa State usually goes into these games really excited and then lays a giant stinky egg. Have things really turned the corner for good? We'll find out. My heart says ISU 35-31 but my head says TCU 42-21. Other parts say something else.

Many do prioritize drinking over supporting the program, yes. Once we need to pay more to retain CMC, they’ll be asked to modify their priorities some.
Why? By the time you go out to your lot and grab a beer, you have to head straight back to the game to get in before half and it's still a struggle to make it for kickoff. I personally believe that if drinking beer is more important than the game, sell your ticket to someone who wants to enjoy the entire game. You can crush a team with a strong start to a half, it's only fair to this staff and team to have the full support of cyclonenation at Jack Trice.Easy solution. Sell beer in the stadium, and not just in the SEZ club. Win/win!

Same here - we are probably two of only a few thousand who can say that.I've been to the tornado game, chilly/flurries vs Mizzou for the North title in 04 and the -20 KU windchill ice bowl. Won't miss this one either!
Just took a rough count on Ticket Master.
Roughly 5800 remaining. However, that doesn't count the mobile pass. Those would show up as unsold now, knowing that they'd just fill them Friday, so if they sold 500 of those, we have about 56,000 tickets currently sold.
