No way. I was there at that game. It wasn't good weather, passing was difficult, and Sam's running really helped ISU put up points. Woody's fumble was terrible, and it sucked Givens and Knott were hurt.

People act like roach was playing with the Denver broncos o line out there and Sam wasn't...it was the same awful line for both
Not really, and you are acting like Grant's body of work has looked better than Sam's.People act like roach was playing with the Denver broncos o line out there and Sam wasn't...it was the same awful line for both
I agree too for the most part. I definitely like both guys. I do think Sam, when healthy, gives us the best option to win-IF he mentally can put last year behind, which cannot be easy. I just have a soft spot for Sam to come back healthy, with a GREAT OC, a better OL, a lot of weapons and see how he does. I just don't think you should lose your job to injury and after CPR's comments, it is clear that was the case last year, as he was playing about 60% (in my estimation) from game one on. I have nothing against any of the others, but after the courage Sam showed in getting the crap beat out of him last year and not complaining about it, I believe if it is a tie, you go with Sam. With that said, I'm sure Coach Mangino will pick the best one, and will get my support either way.

13/31 = bad
3 TDs, 0 INTS = good
119 rush yards = good
Hoping Sam gets the nod. He deserves a chance to prove himself in games with a solid O-Line

I agree, I'd love to have that Sam back. That's just the question. Because the Sam of recent history never seems to make those same throws while standing in the pocket like that. The new and rattled Sam, is MUCH more conservative and instead of risking some of those TD throws he made against KU, will now instead just tuck it and run instead.
and a solid OC.
