Well let me jog your memory some more, because Royce basically didn't play in that game because he was sick.
You said we controlled everybody and we didn't. You can conveniently just pretend like those games don't matter, but the warts have been there for everyone to see all season long. Many people going in to conference play were concerned about this very thing happening.
Ok, well, congrats on being right all along that this team sucks while the rest of us got our hopes up. I hope you ate proud of yourself.
I dont care whether Royce played or not, any team in the Big 12 should easily control a team ranked 276th.
Also that year we barley beat Cental Michigan(271), and Northern Colorado(254), which jsut further proves my point that teams don't get up for those games and can look bad.
As far as your last point, here's the average lead/deficit for the non-conf games. We thoroughly controlled those games, here's the proof.
Kennesaw State +6.9
Oregon State +7.6
Alabama State +4.7
Grambling State +14.1
Xavier +6.1
Memphis +6.3
APB +10.2
Creighton +1.1
Iowa +10.3
Jackson State +9.6
SEL +8.1
Chicago St +12.4
Missouri +4.5
I dont know how you get much more dominating than that. I rarely even remember us being behind the entire non-conf and these numbers prove it.
Baylor at -6.8 was the first time we were negative the entire year and that game was January 1st. I don't have time to look but I'd be willing to bet ISU is the only team in the country to have numbers like this through January 1st.
