*** CFB Championship Week Games Thread***

Do you all actually believe TCU is really going to get kicked out for one gutty OT loss that came down to the last second for a 2 loss team that didn’t even play its conference championship?

Come on.

Welp, we are gonna find out how committee handles TCU.

But realistically the difference between a close overtime loss and a win in title game seems like it ought to be negligible. Like dropping from 3 to 4. But -- I don't know

Terrible coaching at the end of this game by TCU. Sneak it under center and take the points on 4th down.
I tend to agree but it looked like the center got blown up on 4th down. Not sure Duggan would have got in.

Until the selection committee proves they don't suck the big 10s and SECs dicks, I will assume they will do whatever they can to relegate the big12 down. I hope I'm wrong, but I need it to be proven first.

Sadly yes. In the eyes of the national stage the $ec is king and they always get their way.

Yes, actually. It would be stupid, but yes it's very possible. I mean c'mon, we've seen it twice before.

I still give TCU like 60% chance to be in the playoff.

Kind of.

Unless it was UT or OU the BigXII just gets perceived as weak.
I'm just to the point after that year where I expect bad things to happen.

Hope they get in but my nut cup is cracked from this last year of football so I may not be thinking clear.

Assuming Georgia and Michigan win, I think the top 4 is set.

I'm curious on the seeding. Does the committee want another Michigan/Ohio State matchup right away? Or would they prefer splitting the two Big 10 teams up?

Having to play a CCG when you have a round-robin conference schedule is ********. TCU won by two games, beating KSU already. Same thing happened to us two years ago - outright win the regular season, beating OU.
