*** CFB Championship Week Games Thread***

They're so physical and well coached. Anybody who's not going to get superior talent should try to mirror them
I've watched USC a lot this year and they haven't been as dominant as the narrative portrays. People forget that Riley only had a single offseason to pull together a bunch of transfers - they're elite in a few spots but otherwise average in others. Same issue that LSU has this year. They'll both be beasts but reality is going to bite first.

The table is set now. If Caleb Williams wants to win it NY next week, he will need to earn it tonight in the 2H.

Riley is ahead of schedule for sure. They're great on the perimeter and at qb but good to mediocre everywhere else. Utah makes the everywhere else matter.

They aren't any worse than anybody ranked behind them. I think after Georgia, TCU, and Mich they are all about the same.

Harking back to last year but how they played later in '21 was how I wanted to see ISU play. Obviously they had more talent available but they really go at people and stay downhill.

With USC tied now I've thought if they were to roll they'd jump TCU for the SC UM semi but if they lose OSU only goes to 4 to avoid a BiG semi.

Of course this is all assuming TCU takes care of business.

The first quarter not withstanding, this has been a fun game.

They aren't spread and they're not pro style they are multiple, truly balanced. They are physically sound but also good schematically. You have to beat them early because they typically don't lose once the leaves change

I think they have more talent than you realize.
Maybe. It's not like I think they don't have any talent but I think they get the most of it too. I think they're a rare team in today's era that if they ever made it to the playoffs they could matchup with the best teams and not get blown out which is usually what playoffs give us. They aren't same team in September though is their Achilles
