*** CFB Championship Week Games Thread***

Hope USC wins. Utah fans were extra annoying over the summer and I would rather see USC in than Ohio State. That said, Georgia beats them by 20+

Agree. While USC is good this year, I think they’re a year off of being really good. Both them and LSU are going to be major players in the future, but both need a few more pieces.

Yeah I want whatever keeps OSU and Bama out but was hoping for a better game.

This SC team is identical to the OU teams we've all seen the last 20 years.
Offense that can put up 50 but can the defense stop the opponent when it matters.
Also, I think they will be in similar situations getting into the playoffs: easier in their current conference than where they're moving to.

USC is playing like they’d rather have TCU face Georgia in the semis.

Vegas is a fun town. Been out there for NASCAR a couple times. Over 300,000 people were in town that weekend. Not everybody was there for the race, but lots of fun.

I think that USC player just broke his nose on the celebration, lol

Agree.

One thing to note though is I think people aren't necessarily realizing what all USC COULD be though in the future. With everything they have going for them, they could be an elite Top 3 team every year in ways that right now only Bama (usually), Georgia, and tOSU can do.

They have all the benefits they had when they were elite 20 years ago (recruiting area, funding, celebrities, weather, etc), but now will also have 1/3rd of the country to themselves in one of the top 2 conferences, unlimited NIL, a good coach in a fun system, and more media accessibility than ever.

If Riley can use the tougher Big 10 as a way to get their Defense on the same level as their Offense, they will truly be elite. With media accessibility, NIL, and realignment, it's going to be Georgia, Bama, LSU, USC, Michigan, and tOSU as their own tier even moreso than ever.

Also, southern California is far more easier to recruit to than Oklahoma.

And I think USC's NIL path should be easier than most.
