Cargo Shorts

Yeah that's me. Having kids in sports. They are like the mini van of shorts. Even though I hate mini vans. I can admit it. I have to carry stuff man.

Just because it's easier doesn't make it right.

Realistically how much cargo are you people carrying that 4 pockets isn't enough?

Now I have to go home and figure out what my khaki shorts are (well in a month when it is warm enough to wear them that is). There is a 90%+ chance that I am going to be wearing athletic shorts when it is that time of year anyway.

Month? After all this ****** winter we had, I'm breaking mine out on Thursday and Friday.

I love the continual "if you don't do this or that you're not a real man" that gets spewed on this board. I wouldn't be caught dead wearing those shorts, but I also am not a small enough to feel the need to criticize someone based on their clothing choices.

That's what I need to know. If I'm with my kids and need to have a lot of stuff, I just wear a backpack.

This seems like a good thread to state:
Stretch shorts, jeans, dress shirts are one of the best inventions. (Seemed to really catch on at most retailers in the last couple of years)
I will never go back to “non-stretch” again, especially jeans and dress shirts.

I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing a backpack. Fanny packs are where it’s at.

Im 44 years old. I was never that guy. I just hate shorts that are no lose. I am a fab 5 type guy. Like the big shorts. Cargo always worked. However, I had noticed lately a lot of kids making fun of Cargo shorts and I don't want to be the guy who is totally out of date. Which it's about 25 percent that are still cargo shorts on this site.
