But the Cave Inn is still going strong, right? . . . . right?
For many of us, this really hit the spot. So, I spent the past hour Google Street Sceneing. Simply WOW! I know I've been gone a long time, but this really puts life in perspective. Of course Cave In is gone, but shockingly, the building is still there. We called Hardees "Gut Bomb". Wonder when that folded. And campus has expanded and changed so much. It was very nostalgic and fun!

Got to spend a few hours in LA (Lovely Ames) this afternoon.

Sat down at old The Stomping Grounds cafe patio, which is now called Bar La Tosca, and looked across the street and saw 228 & 232 Welch Ave building are surrounded by a construction fence.

Sounds like the buildings are in fairly bad living conditions and are not up to code. There’s some articles on it.

Anybody know or heard if these great location sites having anything planned for redevelopment?
Pretty rough looking currently.
They are being renovated. There is a sign out front showing what they will look like when completed.
