Calm the heck down

No one says don't be upset, but rather don't be an ******* to Fred and the team. The vitriol on CF over even just bad plays is out of touch with reality.
So don't point out what went wrong? No one is being an *** to Fred or the team. Just pointing out what went wrong and was done wrong. I love Fred, but he not 100% perfect, and he can be criticized.

Try reading.

Pointing out what went wrong. Damn, I see, you are just helping out the staff.

I've read most threads. Don't think anyone is being an *** to the team or Fred. However, your "try reading" comment is you being an ***. This is a message board you know. If you want to defend the obvious glares from the last four minutes be my guest. But I will criticize them because, IMO, they could of been fixed sooner.

These types of posts are just as helpful and emotionally stirring as my wife telling me how to drive while I'm driving...

You want to be upset about a loss? Fine. You want to vent about our 3 point D? Great. But I have seen posters saying we need major changes and this team isn't going anywhere in March, just days after people were saying they expected a Big 12 championship.

One loss to a ranked team shouldn't change your opinion that much. Rant about the loss, sure, but if you're going to do a complete 180 on this team because of one loss, I think that's ridiculous.

Yeah, those people are morons. It's disheartening seeing so many of our fans cry this much.

It will be ok. But nobody likes a guy that post the "Calm the heck Down crap" 60 mins after we lost a game at home to Baylor after KU opens the door for us to win the league outright in 12 years..... Really.
Let people vent.

Except do we need the whole front page to be venting threads?

thats just being whiny and insufferable.

I find it hilarious ISU fans are getting worked up about this. How many times has ISU had a good thing going, then all of a sudden throw it all away. This isn't some new trend for ISU. I expected a lost this week.

The real problem for the b ball program moving forward is that the Fans Expect a Big 12 regular season title....

It's amazing how many fans feel the need to **** all over everything after a loss. Especially when it's a top 20 team that played out of their mind. Remember 12 hours ago when you thought this team was better than the team that made the sweet 16 last year? This is still that team.

I do take solace in watching the spoiled children throw fits though.

I don't think you can call ISU fans spoiled children. ISU athletics is far from being spoiled.

We lost a home game for the first time all year and everyone wants to crucify somebody. Baylor is a top 25 team. Jesus, people. We are 20-7 and tied for second place in the toughest conference in America. Some of our "disappointing" players are really stepping up right now. This is a very talented team that lost to another talented team. It happens.

I'm disappointed because this essentially takes away the possibility of a two seed, but what the heck. This team is likely going to be a 3-4 seed in March and that's pretty damn good. Calm down.

A 3-4 seed is still a great seed, and is much better than most of our teams have had. Beats the hell out of just barely getting in and getting an 8, 9 or 10.

And a share of the big 12 title is still very much in play. Probably the most likely outcome if you looked at the odds.

I don't think it will happen with Hoiball. Too much inconsistent play.

Year 5 and we are a game out of first. Maybe he will win a conference tournament, maybe he won't. But it isn't like he is missing it by much.

The last 4 years have spoiled basketball fans. If you expect perfection, you aren't going to find it at Iowa State.

I swear the national media is much, much more fair with our basketball teams than the idiot Iowa State fans. They realize what is happening. Those of us in the trenches apparently do not.

Hmm, I see it isn't safe to come out yet.

Johnny Orr lost games too. We'll survive. I like the state of our program, and I'm not looking to change it.
