Hey, even the Pope loves @CoachHines3. If more folks shared his sense of humor, this world would be a lot more fun.

dont hate the playa hate the gameHey, even the Pope loves @CoachHines3. If more folks shared his sense of humor, this world would be a lot more fun.
The line isn't relevant for the primary defenderI saw that too but I am pretty sure that line only comes into play when the ball handler is in the air. So if you run someone over and don't jump, it doesn't matter where they were, you can get still called for a charge.
What do you want, a medal? LOLi dont know what they'd do without you and your bad sense of humor and your perfect punctuation and typing skills!!!
OK, I give upHey, even the Pope loves @CoachHines3. If more folks shared his sense of humor, this world would be a lot more fun.
You forgot a period.OK, I give up
I would prefer they rally to help us with Houston.Just laughing watching BYU hit threes late. The McCullar injury/lack of depth probably can't be overstated.
They're at Baylor Saturday and then have KState at home and go to Houston to end the season. They could very well end the regular season dropping 3 of 4.
Is that going to help us with our Non-con losses since we played the entire NC without Ward?Unfortunately the committee takes injuries into account and will be able to explain away the losses due to McCullar being hurt.
Not exactly. The selection committee ranks those teams 1-16 and places the first team, then the second and so on each time placing the team in the closest available location. So a team whose closest location is full could poach an Omaha slot if their closest location is full and Omaha is second closest.Which only helped our chances of playing in Omaha.
As Pollard said on KXNO today, the selection committee simply takes their top 16 teams (note: NOT the AP top 16 teams) and then determines which of these teams have Omaha as their closest regional site. As of right now, those teams would be ISU, Baylor, and Kansas. The top 2 of these teams will be given the Omaha site.
Even though KU lost to ISU and falls below ISU in Big 12 standings, the fact they have beaten UConn, Houston, and another top 5 team has kept them neck and neck with ISU in the eyes of the selection committee.
Tonight's loss in Lawrence should definitely move Kansas below ISU, so we're sitting pretty right now for Omaha. However, we have to take care of business down the home stretch and that won't be an easy task.
Teams can put out enough foggy information even if a player won't be availabe due to a nagging injury to circumvent this. Obviously that is tougher if it is known that they will be out like with an achilles, ACL or broken arm or leg. They also take into account if the player is not available for the tournament.
That would be nice, but since it doesn’t say Kansas on our chest I doubt it.Is that going to help us with our Non-con losses since we played the entire NC without Ward?
Was the defender the center's defender or a secondary (help) defender? The arc only applies to secondary defenders. It is amazing that BYU won. I didn't turn on the game until sometime in the second half.
At one time BYU was down 2. BYUs center made a basket but was called for charging. The KU defenders feet were definitely on the restricted line (isn't that still a rule?). But nothing was reviewed (it goes without saying as it was at KU). Announcers did not mention it. But BYU coach got a technical. KU made two freethrows and then a basket to go up.by 6. I thought that was the end of it but was wrong!
Or laugh along.Best to ignore him. His behavior won't change
KU likely just played its way out of Omaha tonight.
Couldn't decide whether to 'dislike' or 'agree' with this since both apply.Kansas could be 15-12 and the ESPN talking heads would say they are a #2 seed.
