Bubu Palo appreciation thread

You should go back and compile their Big 12 FT stats for me.

FT percentage- Career conference play
Rocye- 42%
Percy- 54%
I think you're forgetting exactly how awful Royce was when it came to free throws. Percy is not good, but Royce was terrible.

Yeah, Percy is really bad, but RW was down right horrible.

Meanwhile back to the subject of this thread, never, ever underestimate the value of a good point guard. Take a look at the KU game yesterday to see what happened to a great team when no one stepped up and filled that role.

of course, you can make the argument that based on the number of times he got to the line, Royce's misses were not as damaging because of the sheer number of fouls that were called on the other team, surely resulting in more time on the bench for opposing players, but that starts getting into who was the better overall player, and obviously Royce wins that by a landslide.

Bubu did a good job of giving KL a few mins of rest which really helps KL's game.

To be a hater he had the ball nearly stolen away twice at the end of the game. Jackson was salivating over guarding Bubu but respected KL quite a bit.

Without Bubu Baylor wins this game............THATS THE BOTTOM LINE !!!!!!!!!!!!

Korie just had a bad game and Bubu came in and helped put us over the top.........2-Winnersville !!

Go Cyclones "Beat The Okie's...

Not true at all, he was really good even with 2-10 shooting.

he was also way out of control ball handling multiple times. including the break where he got destroyed by like 3 baylor players on the foul.

Bubu still scares the hell out of me when he gets the ball.

KL needs someone to run with in transition more. Clyburn just hasn't totally been that guy yet or all the time. I'm thinking if we had KL paired with Rashon Clark....oh boy.

Yep, sad but true. Good player off the bench but I just chuckle when I hear posters saying he could be starting next year. He's a good quality bench player who has helped us. He is not a Big 12 starting PG.

Morris will probably be starting next year..unless he comes in and isn't as good as everyone thinks.

And if BuBu is going to start he is going to need to work on his jump shot. He needs to be an offensive threat.

If Bubu is our starting PG next year, we're in trouble. Nice player who can spot Korie for 5 minutes or so a game, but he was absolutely worthless out there on offense. His out of control drive where he got fouled was a huge bail out call.

he isn't worthless on offense at all, he is aggressive with the ball, can shoot when he is open, he just doesn't right now because that isnt his role...and he distributes it well...guy isnt all b12 but man people love to hate on the guy

Little confused to why we have an appreciation thread for a role player doing his job?

Should we create a thread for every time individual players do their job?
