How does Bama not have a five star QB committed already?? Playoffs every year and they’re chasing a three star this late in the game? That’s like Brad Pitt stealing my prom date at the last second. **** off, Brad- you get plenty of tail.

Jalen Hurts is a true Sophomore (SEC player of the year) and inlast year's class they had a commitment from Promm who made the late switch to Georgia and Tua who was the number 1 overall QB in the class. There may not be available playing time there until 2022. Even 'Bama would have a hard time convincing a 5 star QB to come in and back up all of that talent.

Seriously? If threat is only intellectual force I would take her being the last one standing. If the men are like;y physically stronger maybe the two old dudes are stronger than her. What does it matter she has produced an interesting research paper.
I was talking about get the 3 of them in a room together and see who gets the recruit (Saban, Meyer, or the school she predicted). Not some sort of battle royale fight to the death... jeezz man settle down just havin a little fun

I found this interesting in the article regarding that:

“He just said I’m the guy and whatnot and said they’re not really recruiting any other high school quarterbacks, it’s just me,” Purdy said following his official visit. “He said I can call on Signing Day and they’ll still take me. It was great to hear that they have all the confidence in me and are willing to wait for my decision. It’s just really cool. It shows that I’m obviously their guy.”
I wonder what Re-al thinks when he sees this. Does this mean we're out on Max Duggan or is he just referring to the 2018 class?

Okay, that's fine if you think what I posted is stupid. But you literally thought I wanted to see two 50+ year olds get in a fight with a young lady. Sorry the joke didn't land bud, I'll try better next time.

(Re-al) coaches are possibly expecting him to get on the field next year. . . . Purdy is likely to redshirt as a freshman since he won't be on campus until the summer (Re-al is already working out with the team).

Exactly. QB room fall 2019:

Noland, rJr
Moore, rSo
Mitchell, So (assuming he plays this fall)
Purdy, rFr
Duggan, Fr (if we're fortunate enough to get him)

That's five QBs in four classes. Just what the doctor (CMC) ordered.

Agree. The Hawaiian kid was the No. 1 dual QB recruit in the country, so it was obvious why Bama would go after him. Nick must believe Purdy's rating is way off.

If you perceived his post as anything other than a recruiting battle between the three then you're a ******* moron.
I value your opinion as much as...nah I don’t give a **** what you think.

Way up there
Re-al is already here correct? Does Re-al already being here and being talked about being used next season change things? That would indicate that he wont' redshirt. I'm assuming Purdy would redshirt so they would essentially never be in the same class right? That could mean it would be more about Purdy vs a '19 guy than Mitchell. Other than Duggan, what '19 QB's have we offered?

To me this only means that Purdy is the only QB target for the 2018 spring signing date. Re-al is already on campus and Duggan obviously would be our top target in 2019. I like that CMC is trying to improve the depth of the talent in the QB room. You can't count on just one or two guys to carry your program. Sometimes things don't work out (see Jacob Park)
