I don't know where I stand on this to be honest. On one hand **** Tom Brady and the Patriots. And it is an odd coincidence to get a new phone at such a convenient time for him. But on the other hand it doesn't sound that odd for a mega-celebrity like Tom Brady to destroy an old phone and/or SIM card when he gets a new one, I imagine his personal phone contains personal information he would rather stay personal.
I think it's not as cut and dry that the league wins this case, they're basically saying that players are forced to give up any and all personal data or information whenever the league requests it or they will be suspended.
