Going to be weird to watch a National Championship Semi-Final with no fans at all:

So if these bowls can’t have fans - won’t they be more inclined to slot matchups that bring the most eyeballs and largest fan bases?

ISU is attractive for the amount of fans we’d bring to city and attend game but we’re far from a national brand for tv viewership

Sooo gotta be hoping for the Cotton Bowl now right? I’d be cool with going to Dallas a couple weekends apart

Yeah Cotton or Alamo Bowl probably best bets in terms of actual fan attendance but at this point who knows what the situation for those will even be come another couple of weeks.

Definitely want to win and be in the Cotton bowl.

The possible Fiesta bowl consolation prize sounds really sweat. They actually retweeted a few Iowa State things last week, so they're keeping tabs on us for sure. Feels like we might need help with one or two of these teams losing: Cincinnati, Coastal Carolina, USC, Miami, Indiana, Georgia. We might be ranked higher now, but the scenario involves a 3rd loss for us, which seems like it would put us behind these teams if none of them lose again.

I know we were just in the Alamo bowl 2 years ago, but its not a bad consolation prize either. Should have a brand name Pac12 team to play this time around.

I believe I'd most like to play Florida in the Cotton bowl. I think we can slow down that high powered offense and I believe we will score on their defense while chewing up clock. Big name, big bowl, and a good match up!

Why don't they just move the bowls to states that allow fans? Just put the playoff games in Dallas. What are the rules in New Orleans?

With selection Sunday being the 20th there isn't a whole lot of time to prepare to go to anything.

I can understand this but have a feeling if they would be going to a better bowl/location this wouldn't be happening.
