Greed and evil won today; and rather than stand-up and say "No" to greed and evil; Sally Mason said "Yes." "Yes. Yes. A thousand times Yes."

That's not what I meant. I meant that Nebraska is ahead of Iowa in the Big Ten. They will be a bigger deal to them.

The second one is a great point. I have no argument. A simple vote would have been a nice gesture though. The Big Ten wouldn't get rid of Iowa. That's ridiculous. There should have been no reason for them to vote yes. Whatever, it doesn't really matter. Hopefully we get to the Big East and do some damage.

That remains to be seen. They'll be treated as equals in the Big 10, not the readed stepchild from the North like they were previously.

Depending on how things get split up, their road to a championship could be much tougher than it was in the B12N.

And so did every other president in the Big 10. Nebraska asked to leave the Big 12. Some of you don't seem to understand that. They wanted out.

No, it won't be. I don't see them in PSU or OSU's division and Michigan won't be either.

They wanted to leave because they were shortsighted and voted for unequal revenue sharing. Had the not done that maybe this would be different. When the conference was formed they were the big dog and though they could cash in. Then all of a sudden they weren't the big dog anymore and there was no way for them to retain that. Going to the Big Ten gives them more money even if they aren't the big dog.

At this point, I'm just trying to figure out who I'm going to root for when Iowa and Nebraska play their first conference football game. I hate them both pretty equally.

You responded thusly, inferring that if Geoffroy had to ask it would leave you speechless.

"It just was" refers to the question that was just asked, which you said would leave you speechless if it needed to be asked. I said I doubt it based on the grandstanding you've been doing over the last few days.

Now you're getting it.

Maybe not?

THH, I really should not understand what you mean better then you. As it is, I will continue to be here to correct you.

You didn't say division. You said conference.

Well yeah. I would assume that the Big 10 is going to be split up into divisions now, and that they'll have a similar schedule rotation to what the Big 12 had.

Depending on how things shake out, their road could definitely be tougher.

Ok, I agree. I think the most reasonable thing to do is to go east/west with it right?

Here's how it looks to me:
West
Nebraska
Iowa
Minnesota
Wisconsin
Illinois
Northwestern

East
Michigan
MSU
OSU
PSU
Indiana
Purdue

To me, that West division is a little more difficult than the North was. So I suppose you were right there but I don't see the quality in the Championship yet. I would put Missouri level with either Iowa or Wisconsin though. SO in the end, I suppose you were right. Sorry.

But earlier you said that the BOR should be able to tell Mason how to vote. Get your story straight, old man.

What exactly did you want the BOR to do today?

Ha ha THH.
There is absolutely nothing contradictory in my posts. Recap:

Since I am of the belief it did not matter, the BoR should have told Sally to give the no vote.
I did say that if it did matter, I could see the BoR being apprehensive, as in uneasy... not as in not forcing her to do so. Can the BoR not apprehensively tell Sally to vote "no"? Perhaps to form your poor rebuttal you needed to read this as being otherwise. I understand you are grasping for anything.

Oh, and just graduating does make me feel older, I assure you I am not that old.

I'm not grasping for anything. You're the one trying to convince everyone that a grave injustice was done today.
