Big10 off to a great start....

But the BIG is so tough as they play crunch games every time.

How can this be?:skeptical: Where is the justice?

Well the BIG is just so tough, they beat each other up all season. How can they be expected to all compete in late March with that grueling conference schedule.

Yeah — quite remarkable, when you think about it.

To be fair, UW actually averaged 73 ppg this year ... decent scoring output to complement an otherwise forgettable system.

Yeah, I did know they were not quite as limited (I'm still searching for an appropriate for this forum word that is strong enough here) offensively as they have been in previous seasons, but I must admit to still being surprised at 62 in less than 3/4 of a game.

Thank goodness the announcer's Craft love affair is over!!!!!

Tell me about it. Right after Craft committed a brainless intentional foul at a critical moment in the game, one announcer said he has more respect for Craft than anyone else in the NCAA. Wut?

Aaaar-on frigging craft sh00ts....for the l---0ss. Hey, Vegas, can we replay that. Aaron is a winner. Surely he would not miss a point blank sh0t.

True - that'd be a ton of points in that time span for quite a few teams, let alone Wisconsin.

"Limited" is a decent descriptor under the circumstances.

Of course ISU scored 58 in 20 minutes (UMKC, 2nd half) pretty much without their starting five that whole time. Of course that wasn't against a tournament team.

EDIT: ISU scored 66 in the last 28 minutes of the Big 12 championship game against Baylor. Doesn't make NCC seem so scary anymore, does it.

meh, about what was expected by just about everyone. I had dayton and tenn in my bracket. Those were the least deserving seedings for the BoneG. They have both been vastly over-rated. The rest of the BoneG I halfway respect the seedings and even the teams to some extent. I'm enjoying that Nebby never did Jack as a Big XII/8 team and now is solid in the B1G. But they have put a lot of pieces in place that they never were allowed to in the past. I think the rest of the league plays to their seeding.

Big 12 has some tough games in front of it. I'm not convinced we'll light it up either. Will be rooting for the conference though.

Well, to be fair, Iowa played to their seeding. :spinny:

That is, "not in".

The b1G has 3 legit good teams, I don't really have a problem with them hyping Wisky, MSU and Michigan but I'm pretty sure there were talking heads telling us that Iowa and tOSU were final four teams not too long ago. The ESPN analyst are on par with weathermen when it comes to accuracy.

BigTen now 2-1.

Wisconsin outscored American 62-16 in the final 28 minutes. Yeek!

Technically aren't they 1-2. Who won besides Wisky? Loved seeing Craft laying on his back DOWN and OUT. I didn't think he showed us enough respect after his fluke 3 beat us last year.

I think they are 1-1. One Big 10 team wasn't able to play themselves into the tournament. Just like in wrestling if you are in a pigtail it only counts if you win the next one.

True but the pundits keep saying the Big 10 got 6 teams in, which would include Iowa. I like the sound of 1-2 better.
