The Cyclones only had 4.7 seconds to go full court and take a shot. Thomas passed to Morris who took one dribble before passing to George. George took one dribble so he wouldn't have time to pass the ball off to an open BDJ and for him to take a shot. I think they should have taken a chance on a long pass to get an open three point attempt, especially when Naz was 5-5 in the game.
Seeing the replay Chery definitely did a push off on MM and Morris said as much in the post game. The thing that disappointed me the most was Hoage's T that was totally preventable. It was already the Cyclones possession after a made Baylor basket. The Baylor player fouled and ISU would have been shooting free throws anyway, then the Hoage T which was not an acceptable play. I was very disappointed in him, but he did that at least once last year.
ISU missed one of two but when they called the Technical on Hoage Baylor not only made both free throws but they got the possession and they scored again on a possession that should have been for the Cyclones.
