Big 10 BCS games...

Ive heard of schemes that would do just that, actually since the Big/Pac 10 are the biggest opponents to change

A lot of voters probably put the top team in each BCS conference pretty high by default. Based on how bad the Big 10 is, it's time for the BCS to re-evaluate whether it really deserves an automatic BCS bid every year. It would be better if the Big 10 lost it's automatic bid and it was either given to the MWC or to another at-large team. Then we wouldn't have to sit through this annual Rose Bowl blowout every year.
Yup, people said the same thing about the Big East a few years ago.

Conferences go through down periods. It's been obvious that the Big Ten is not very strong, and this is a good example of that.
But if you don't believe that USC has a case for the best team in the nation, then you're an idiot. Put any team in there, and they'd do basically the same thing. I'd put money on it.
It is just extremely frustrating that people KNOW the Big 10 is crap and has been crap over the past years, yet they still get TWO teams in the BCS.

They actually do this. There are provisions for changing which conferences have automatic berths.

It is tough to watch. I don't like the little eleven; however, I can't stand USC either. I just hope Oklahoma gets off the snid from their last 4 bowl efforts.
No, all we know is that USC is pounding the Big Ten's champion. USC had to fight like hell to beat Cal, for instance, only scoring 17.
They would not embarrass Oklahoma, Texas, Florida or Alabama. I won't predict wins or losses either way, but they would be great games.
They also lost to Oregon State.
How did Oregon State do against Penn State?

Look, it's no question that USC loses some head scratchers. But they do the best job out of ANY team to come out and dominate in the bowl season.
Head to head this season the MAC was better then the Big 10, so was the Pac 10. Big 10's victory against a Big 12 opponent was against lowly ISU at home 17-5 when ISU outgained them, missed 3 FG's and threw a pick in the end zone and lost the ball on downs on the 5.
