Looks like Tim Brando is on the TV call Saturday Night:
Thank god to get a good commentator again. I know the guys on FS1 are the d team but good lord were they awful. Screaming at the top of his lungs for 20 yard gains.

He’s clearly trying to be a budget version of Gus Johnson. The problem is he’s clearly just faking the enthusiasm. I don’t care for Gus very much either, but I don’t think he’s faking it at least.Felt almost like a WWE announcer. Really over the top.

Most times cornered raccoons end up dead.I'm worried about Bayor this game. They'll be like a cornered raccoon. Desperate and unpredictable.
I was considerably more worried about last weekend and a weird loss than I am this weekend at home.I'm worried about Bayor this game. They'll be like a cornered raccoon. Desperate and unpredictable.
As long as they don't turn into spider monkeys I think we'll be fine.I'm worried about Bayor this game. They'll be like a cornered raccoon. Desperate and unpredictable.
My favorite was the gushing over the DL who was defending a receiver in the end zone. The guy who was badly beat on the route managed to dive and knock down a pass that was thrown 2 yards behind the receiver who had to stop on his route and wait for the ball. If Rocco leads the receiver like he should have the guy might not be able to even get the PI because he was so far out of the play. But according to the announcers it was the play of the century by a D Lineman.Thank god to get a good commentator again. I know the guys on FS1 are the d team but good lord were they awful. They could have quit in the BYU game but didn't. I think we'll be in for a fight unless we can crush their spirits early but haven't really done that against anybody worth while.
Campbell hates Baylor and has multiple paybacks due. This will be one of them.

In yesterday’s podcast, Bruns said he thought that Rocco had a physical impairment Saturday. I think he was the third observer I heard say that in the wake of the game.Really want Rocco to put together an on the dot game this week. Seems like for the last few games hes been just a hair off on a few throws... Would be nice to see that get cleaned up.
Does anyone with even a modicum of insider knowledge know if he has an issue with his throwing arm? Seeing the KT tape on his right triceps (and presumably going up to his shoulder) combined with his errant throws looking even a bit more off I wonder if there's something nagging him in that arm.Really want Rocco to put together an on the dot game this week. No argument from me. Rocco was under duress so it is understandable that it was a bad throw. That was a very tough throw for Rocco. He was basically on the sprint and a backwards angle from defensive pursuit.
Houston's DL was good.
I don't know whether to like or dislike this comment. I dislike any player, especially our starting QB, being injured, but I would like it if there was an explanation for Rocco struggling to deliver the ball on target so often rather than that is just what he is. I like Rocco, but there have been a lot of balls that have been...well...just not good.In yesterday’s podcast, Bruns said he thought that Rocco had a physical impairment Saturday. That being said, the point is still that the DL had no chance to make the play if it was a good or even mediocre throw. The bad throw behind the receiver was the only reason he got back in the play and made a play on the ball. I know they had in their notes to highlight the versatility and athleticism of the guy and they still could have mentioned that the coaches trust him to drop back in coverage due to his athleticism and versatility and just leave it at that. To make it sound like he made an all world play when he was so badly beaten and lucked out was just dumb.
It's also much easier to trust a big guy in coverage near the goal line since the field is compressed and it is a lot tougher for a receiver to just run away from a guy there.Yeah I was impressed with the guy keeping up as much as he did but it wasn't some swiss army knife type of defensive play.
