If she invests it, 4% after taxes would be 24k a year. Figuring 600k left after everything
It most certainly is life changing. ISU has had to of paid her several hundred thousand a year up to this point. So she will have made 2 million over her college career. If you take half of that out for taxes and random fun/nonsense she should still have a million bucks. If she invests that properly that money could grow by 100k a year, so a passive income of give/take 100K a year...an amount that will only increase.
That is def life changing money.
I’d say grow maybe 60-70k per year. Figure 9% and then having to pay at least a percent or two due to capital gains/dividends pay out. Unless she invested in 100% growth stocks that paid no gains/dividends ever.

Even if CBF wanted to sign Audi, he would have been at least $1M short in cash.
Yeah people seem to confuse "never work again" money with life changing money.
That kind of money sets someone up so well. In life every dollar generally comes easier than the last, and starting off with that kind of money, no debt, being able to be owning a home and building equity right away, being able to invest significant amounts early in life, etc is definitely life changing all on its own.

IMO Audi got a great deal. Insane amount of money. Okie State has purchased a better cast of supporting players better than Iowa State had last year to help Audi’s strengths as well as covering up her weaknesses.

I’ve been as negative about the way she plays as anyone but why do some need to keep dredging up the obvious. Is it some type of primal need to feel better about ourselves? Yeah she took the cash so ******* what?
Good for Audi. A fresh start and some money in the bank. An exciting new adventure with an ambitious young coach. Oklahoma State was very organized and played very well this past year.
Some are resentful of Audi for going to a better situation for her. And she needed to leave after the way the season ended. She would have been blamed for all the others leaving. Whether that is justified or not, I do not know. Not sure how to assess Jada Williams situation. I do know she stated she needed to leave Arizona due to its “toxic” environment. Jada was definitely a hired gun. Has a massive social media following. Heard she showed up in Ames in a very expensive car. I would say Jada has now left two toxic programs. IMO Jada is an overhyped self promoter.
Just a week before entering the portal after the Big 12 game I belive she answered a question saying she was greatfull that the coaching Staff helped here regain her love for basketball and would 100% be back next season.
Well a week later she was gone.
I'm pretty sure Jada came mostly to play with Addy. I don't remember who announced first, but after Addy knew she was going Jada probably felt like her reason for being here was gone.
Speaking of Addy, I wonder if she might go to a school to be closer to her girlfriend. I think she was a track athlete at New Mexico?

Yep. And Audi was the last to announce that she was leaving. Everyone else leaving announced before. So after everyone left Audi is supposed to stay? Probably figured best to transfer and get a big bagful of money and a better roster of players to play with. Audi nailed it.
