***@ Arkansas State Pregame Thread***

Maybe because we lost to Ohio a couple of years ago?
To be fair, we were an average team in 2023 and Ohio was one of the best teams in G5. Also like 1/4 of our team had mono. And we made a kick that was called no good.

Arkansas State stinks. We’re much better. Only one of our players has mono. And we have a better kicker.

What if they start kissing eachother?

They tried. The receivers dropped some good balls down the field they definitely should have caught.
Right. What's your point? I offered a solution, which is to give them more reps and opportunities. Thanks for the commentary.

Well we got embarrassed last week. A game 60 years in the making and our staff wasn’t ready and noticeably quit after it got to 35-14. I expect it to be worse this week since I think a lot higher of y’all than I do UA. We have guys and talent all over the field but this staff is failing these kids. I expect a very poor crowd on our part and I hate that but we probably brought 15k ish ASU fans to LR last weekend and idk if they’ll be that many for Saturday. I’ll be there and hope y’all have a great time and enjoy Jonesboro. Yes conceal your beer into coozies or solos and you won’t have issues, I saw a comment about the photoshop and I will say we have a very nice football stadium and it’s one of the best in the G5 besides atmosphere lol. Any questions about Jonesboro or ASU or anything I can answer. Glad y’all beat Iowa and wish you guys well and no injuries this week.

Who peed in your Cheerios, good grief.

But to answer your question, my point, which I thought was pretty clear, is they are putting the wide receivers in position to make plays downfield and some of them are not cashing in, specifically in the Iowa game. So “getting the receivers going” as you put it is more on the receivers ability to make the plays when the ball comes their way and less on how the game was called by the coaching staff.

Lol fair.

I don't think we can make a call on their ability at this point in the season. It's the third game of major snaps in a primary role for literally all of them. "Getting the receivers going" just meant giving them more opportunities to make a play and get comfortable.

I agree. I really like the receiver room, but they are very young and there will be growing pains that hopefully start to get straightened out by the AZ game.

I remember Noel struggled as a freshman, Hutch and Higgins struggled when they transferred in. They will get better and learn, but right now I am fine relying on the tight ends in the pass game. It is such an advantage and matchup nightmare for opponents. Especially in this game. No way Arkansas state can cover Brahmer/Burkle.

Sounds like theres going to be plenty of options for tailgating and space. Did get confirmation on ASU message boards. S/o to @RedwolfNavy I believe they were one of the responses but the lots south of baseball cost $10 and are first come first serve. We will be in there by at least 10 am and will have a tent and flag up! Anyone is welcome to stop by or even park next to us! Cant wait to see all the clones!

Insecurity causes the angst.

This is a game we should win big and will win big.
There’s always an upside to winning. It’s called winning lol.

We still have to show up and play the game but if we come out and play well we will win this game by 5+ scores.
