The only teams ranked above us last week who lost were Ohio State (who won't drop below us) and Ole Miss. I don't know who else these voters would move us ahead of.
It would really depend on the range of voters. Last week if all voters had ND between 9 and 13 but Iowa State was 7-17, those that had Iowa State much lowered could push them up.The only teams ranked above us last week who lost were Ohio State (who won't drop below us) and Ole Miss. Margins are considered only when they're looking for a reason to put a 5-1 or 4-2 Big 10 or SEC team ahead of a 6-0 Big 12 team. Some really close top 10 wins. Pedophile State won in OT against unranked S.Cal. Alabama by 2 against unranked S.Car. Tennessee won in OT vs unranked Floria. Voters don't seem to consider margins.
I think ND moves up to 9, LSU to 10, ISU at 11.
But the AP and coaches poll are really meaningless. Let’s just keep winning and wait for the official CFP poll
Exactly! Any 2 win combo out of @WV, K-State, and @utah will be pretty dang strong metrics wise when you add in the Iowa game. That won't fix the ESPN eye test though....
I think winning helps recruiting much more than where a team is rankedThe help in recruiting though
There’s a teeny, tiny chance that the two are, like, directly related.I think winning helps recruiting much more than where a team is ranked
Son of a *****.
