That’s the buddy system, that guy is completely unqualified for one of the most important position coaches in football.
Sadly this might be true. We took the most basic **** as a big deal becasue Manning is so trash running plays that might work on 3rd and long felt like good

Tom Manning, where he won an offensive line coach of the year award in 2015 before coming to ISU. Guy can clearly coach the offensive line, but is in over his head running the entire offense. Hoping Campbell takes an honest evaluation this offseason, moves Manning to O-line, and either promotes Scheelhaase to offensive coordinator or finds an outside candidate, like he did when he poached Dave Andrews from Pitt.

You say Manning is over his head running the entire offense but then want to promote Scheelhasse to OC. Scheelhaase has never been anything more than a position coach, but you don't think he'd be in over his head running the entire offense?

Tell me a fan base in America from high school, college or pros that wouldn’t be beyond frustrated with this year. It’s not like we are losing 50-0 and the team is over matched and outclassed at every level, ISU is in every game and losing by one score excluding today, but is losing due to the details. The guy that preaches details may need to self reflect on his own details as he is losing in the details.

As I said in the past, winning in the margins is a rule for the players only. Doesn't apply to the coaches.
And then is next year a rebuild year in defense? Because this is not a rebuild on defense this year and we lost a lot of guys.
We had the best players in ISU history last year. Not the best offense and not near the best OC.
People are gonna get pissy over this one too, but the bar is so low on that you can't trip on it.
