That's because people care about those sports in their entirety.
CC has her own specific fanbase that isn't necessarily into women's sports, or even basketball.
Clark is the show. Period. And unfortunately it's turning into WWE or Women's Roller Derby. And they're doing it for attention. And the league will still lose money and the players will still cry about their salaries. I don't believe I'll waste my time watching. The actual basketball is terrible.
She hates that fans actually know who she is and wants herautograph, and Griner hates full arenas. There's a reason they don't make much more over 6 figures. They're too entitled to see it though.
I'd compare her more to Mary Lou Reton, Chris Everett or Serena Willams than Jordan or Brady. It's still the WNBA. Calm down. Lol......

I just think it would be an interesting lawsuit if she tried to prevent someone from making money on something they could prove they had created before she patented it.
I think this is much ado about nothing I suppose, not like she's going to make shirts with "mebounds" on it and I doubt very much anyone else is going to do that in a meaningful way as a troll against her.

Blows my mind that clone's us, can't appreciate a fellow IOWAN that has elevated the WNBA to pretty damn watchable.
I live in territory that doesn't know jack about Iowa athletics, nor cares.
I'm simply stating that CC has put IOWA on the map. Of course, where I live? It's IOWA. Nobody here, gives a rat's ass if it's Hawkeye or Cyclone. Pretty sure, the same could be said elsewhere USA/outside Iowa.
