Nary a Clone-hawk athlete, will Ever have a globally-athletic-impact, similar to CCs.

I can hate the hawks til the day I die.
Then again, our state has produced the most "disrupting" athlete Ever, no matter the sport.
Michael Jordan, Tom Brady, Patrick Mahomes, Lamar, Josh A, etc, etc, etc, etc...could miss a game, due to injury. Stands would remain 100% full.
CC out? Attendence plunges.

That's because people care about those sports in their entirety.

CC has her own specific fanbase that isn't necessarily into women's sports, or even basketball.

Not really. The Fever and CC continue selling out NBA arenas and setting viewership records. I will give you that it's the only way for Mabrey, Sheldon and the Sun to garner any attention. Watching their game now v. Phoenix and even in that small arena there are tons of empty seats. That's probably why they go after CC, I'm sure they're very jealous.

Clark is the show. Period. And unfortunately it's turning into WWE or Women's Roller Derby. And they're doing it for attention. And the league will still lose money and the players will still cry about their salaries. I don't believe I'll waste my time watching. The actual basketball is terrible.

I think this is much ado about nothing I suppose, not like she's going to make shirts with "mebounds" on it and I doubt very much anyone else is going to do that in a meaningful way as a troll against her.
