Of course I do. What is the point you are making? You seem to be inferring that having one guy with a pretty nasty history justifies bringing on another one. Big yikes.
I’m wondering why the contradiction. Do you want the guy on our current team off? He got a second chance, why not the current guy. I just don’t see the difference.

Do you know about the charges that the other wrestler on our team faced regarding treatment of women? Serious question.
Unfortunately, for AJ, there are way more incidents that he was involved in outside of the charge that was dropped! It's a history that stems back to his high school days. It was not an isolated incident!

Did you expect him to act like a total douche bag when he's chasing BIG money? Of course he's going to be on his best behavior and put on a show. He's a con artist.

Fair. I would never advocate to boot a guy who has so obviously turned it around and proven to be a high character guy, but I definitely wasn’t a fan of it at the time.

I also don’t think Ech and AJF are a true apples to apples comparison. AJF has had multiple questionable incidents. It’s a part of who he is.

I don’t believe that he is capable of doing what you are hoping he does at ISU. Much higher chance of it backfiring.

Spot on. Also, not that it needs piling on, but I definitely dock him a bit for some of the **** Anthony has pulled as well. Fair or not. You bring on AJF, you’re welcoming the influence of the Ferrari clan into the program.

My memory may be way off, but it seems like AE was in Ames for a LONG time before ever being let back on the team wasn't he? I remember rumors of him being around and everyone freaking out. Seems he had to prove himself to the staff and team before they let him back. Thankfully he did. Would AJ allow the same treatment?

Maybe I'm completely mis-remembering so I look forward to crabby calling me an idiot again.

LOL don’t tell me what I do or don’t know, thanks.

Of course he was “well behaved”. He was at ******* nowheresville university competing in a dead conference. What other choice did he have?

Put him back on a big boy team competing against All Americans every dual and he will revert right back to his old self.

And the fact that you think less than a year is enough to actual change a person from being an utter POS into someone you want representing ISU is hilarious. He’s the same guy.
If nothing else, that's terrible logic. I'll leave it up to Dresser.

He was here for a year before he could wrestle. Not sure if that was imposed by the coaches, or because he still had ongoing legal issues. But I think AJ did the same thing this year at CSUB. Stayed out of trouble, performed well, and by all accounts not a cancer on the team. Proved he’s ready for a second chance at a big program.

What's everyone's opinion of AJ coming on but Angelo comes with? I honestly do hope though that Anthony doesn't come anywhere close...he seems to be the real problem in thay family, and that's saying something

The only answer is yes. He maybe a bit over the top, but he claims to have found jesus now and has changed a bit (if you listen to some of his interviews, after he lost especially). He is still entertaining (he appeals to non-diehard wrestling fans). What I mean is eyeballs watch him just to see what he is gonna do. He is entertaining. Wrestling fans tend to not like "non-wrestling diehards" to even try and watch the sport. wrestling fans tend to want a small "clique". Not everyday wrestling fans would maybe tune in just to watch this kid. I think a potential NC (def AA) is worth the risk. Especially at 197 where we have been very weak.

I love this message board. One day everyone's a kid who deserves a second chance, the next their professional con artists for clasping hands at the end of a match.
