Afroman and the first amendment.

I wish I was on that jury. Afroman would never be convicted. :)
I'd get his autograph afterwards:)
A buddy of mine saw Afroman in Iowa City back in like 2005. Got him to sign an empty Colt 45 can.

He was back home for Christmas break and had the can in his childhood bedroom. His mom tossed it assuming it was garbage.

Cases like this makes you stop and think how many other people did this happen to before?
Not nearly as bad but when I was 10 or so and my brother was 13 we were home alone and 2 cops knock on the door. They were looking for a woman with my mom's same name who had a warrant. Got cleared up with a quick call to my mom. This was in Council Bluffs, the woman in question was Canadian and had recently crossed the border so still confused how they thought she was the homeowner when my mom had bought the house several years prior.

I have a story like this when I was a kid. My mother was arrested at our house, because she had the same name of a person who they had a warrant for. Only thing was the woman they were looking for was already in county jail. We should have sued, but my mom just wanted it over with.

It's important to note that this was a civil case and not criminal. Afroman was never charged for anything related to the raid on his house. The cops (plaintiffs) just wanted a bunch on money for "emotional distress."

I'm not sure what the hell the cops were thinking.

Imagine watching your public embarrassment increase 100 fold because you don't understand how the Streisand effect works. Then you remember that you PAID a lawyer to make this embarrassment happen.

LOL What a bunch of pathetic dishonorable losers.

The executed search warrant was seeking criminal verification and evidence of a criminal enterprise.

Nothing ever came of the case involving the search warrant. Charges were never filed.

This case was civil the cops were the plaintiff and Afroman was the defense.

Honestly if that’s all that happened I’d be with them. They damaged his home and then said tough titty. After that they get 0% of my pity.
