Advice from a Utard fan. :)

We do okay... I follow our ticket guy on Twitter and he stated they only sold 700 tickets to the ISU game. I think most fans this year are traveling to the Notre Dame game. I know we sold out of what they allotted us and I know many (including myself) bought tickets after the U sold out directly from ND.

In Michigan we sold out of our allotment and then some.

So yes and no. We travel really, really well to whatever happens to be the biggest game (In this years case ND sucks but its still ND)

Love your sig.

You mean to tell me you've given a guy from North Dakota State legendary troll status?:skeptical:

To be fair, so have other boards; most notably Minnesota's...since NDSU defeated them a couple of years ago.

Actually I can vouch for what Tang is saying we had a ton of these guys show up on our home board pretending to be Ute fans acting like ********. It was one of the oddest/dumbest things I've seen in a while.

We've had the same thing happen with hawkeye pretending to be Cyclones and stirring trouble on other sites. I remember Minnesota's site, before December's Insight Bowl; being the most recent.

This has been odd, but entertaining. And it's still just Wednesday afternoon...I'm assuming we have a ton of Utah fans here because their board is such a terrible format that they have to spend time on other team's boards to keep from going completely insane.

This would also be the first time I can remember seeing a Colorado fan here in my 3 1/2 years of visiting CF. Maybe they're coming out of hiding now that they're 3-1?

All I've ever heard is how classy and polite Nebraska fans are - not true?

Then again, if BYU fans were told by someone else that Utah fans were classy and polite they'd die......so please someone tell them that. TIA.

They're nice when they think they'll beat and will be able to condescendingly clap for your team after the game.

Having grown up in the Omaha metro, I can confirm that Nebraska fans are definitely NOT classy or polite. I can only imagine what it's like back home now that "Order is Restored". Occasionally you'll find a good one here on CF (one regular, I believe his username is garn) but most of them are insufferably arrogant trolls. I've heard that the fans actually from Lincoln aren't so bad, but the ones from Omaha/western Iowa have made me despise UNL (probably like you hate BYU).

I definitely prefer you guys over the Hawks, Huskers, or K-State fans that decide to post their drivel on our board.

The town I am in is in mourning... they are all lining the streets, businesses closed down as kNU takes its last drive down to Manhatten.... all dressed in red, waving their flags waiting for the bus...

My boss was giving me a hard time and said I could go if I wore red... so I put on a Cyclone shirt... he found no amusement in that at all... I even made a sign "9-7"

Well, they're waiting for the buses to drive through and I'm at work...

Oh how I hope KSU buries them

And to think I started it trying to be nice, ****** some people off, Edited the original post to say nothing and it blossomed from there.

Plant a baby seed and watch it grow

oh and **** EVERYONE! UTAH FANS ARE NOT NICE GRRRRR

Yea I guess that just doesent come across right.

I don't think anyone is mad at the Utah fans, just, confused by you. That's all.

And that BYU video is without doubt one of the weirdest things I've ever seen in my life. Holy cult Batman!

More of a farewell tour as we head out, I've been an admin on a CU board for a while and thought I'd roll out and check out message boards for all of our old Big 8/12 foes in our last season.

They are excellently polite if they beat your *** by 50 in thier house. Roll them on the socre board, or let them hire Bill Calahan? then they ***** and moan like any petulant college fan out there, and spend more time talking about their history than BYU does.

Ever hear of the term "condescending"?

Quite literally, Nebraska fans put you in your place with "classiness" and "politeness". A.k.a., sincerity is the issue.

I don't know what the problem was. I have no problem with someone coming on here and just posting. From what I have read from Utah fans, they have been nice as ****. Some of you ISU fans need to chill out.

I gotta agree with this, I think the Ute fanbase has been great so far and I saw nothing offensive in his post (which luckily was quoted by another poster) whatsoever. I can still remember the Pitt fanbase that came on here when we returned to a bowl....major jerks. Surprisingly some of the best fans I remember were Tide fans.

We had the same experience with both Pitt and Bama fans. Pitt fans were completely obnoxious online (both when we played them in the Fiesta Bowl in 04, and this year), but were actually very cool in person. Talked to a bunch of them this year...they travel well.

While Bama fans were condescending before the game, they were nothing but class afterwords. I even had one buy me a beer last month in an airport simply because I was wearing my Utah shirt. They're a great group, and very knowledgeable about their football.

Totally agree with you. Another fanbase I forgot to mention was Florida State when we played them at Arrowhead Stadium. Talked to a lot of Seminole fans after the game and they were pure class and highly respectful of ISU.
