I dont think he would agree that he did not have enough air under his kicks, or that he is missing potential. I would hope he isnt "worried" about his consistency. I hope he is confident in his abilities and that he has put last year where it belongs, in the past. I think he would understand that there are things he needs to improve. I would hope he would say that missed extra points last season were inexcusable, whether it be illegal block, an All American DT walking through a sick and depleted line, or an over corrected kick in the wind. I would like to believe that consistency is something he has worked on as much as he has worked on improving his power.
Missing kicks is something that everyone can see. It is charted down and its not arguable. Something like missed coverage, interceptions, dropped passes, while some are recorded stats, they are not cut and dry like field goals are. So it is easy for guys like you to point fingers and say, that is the reason. Everyone has said it, including coaches. It takes a team to win and a team to lose, its not on one guy.
