They really need to go back to the runner on 2nd for extra innings. I don't know why you would play 162 games with a rule then completey abandon it in the playoffs.

That's your opinion, I think it creates more excitement and is more like college football. This old way is alot closer to the NFL trying to play an extra quarter and it drags on unnecessarily.
