Yup. It’s what makes MLB less watchable by the year.Congrats to L.A. They have the best that money can buy.
Dodgers 2025 payroll: $ 350 000 000
Blue Jays 2025 payroll: $ 255 000 000
Devastated?
Not on your life. It's just another g.d. game determined by zeroes.
I heard the announcers comment that the dodgers spent a billion dollars on pitching. And the Blue Jays are considered a wealthy club compared to what the pohlads spent.Congrats to L.A. They have the best that money can buy.

Ya Ohtani is the best baseball player in 100 years. He is a great hitter and a great pitcher at the same time. Can he do both in the same game for very long? The World Series is 7 games that is most rules are out the window. We saw a couple play that could hardly walk. And starting pitchers turn into relievers.Non-baseball person here…who are we rooting for? Feels like Dodgers are evil for spending money but Ohtani might be the greatest baseball player ever until we grow them in a lab. I’m good either way, underdog or writing history.
Yeah.$20. Million front loaded and $680 million years 11 through 20 is what i am reading.Ya Ohtani is the best baseball player in 100 years. He is a great hitter and a great pitcher at the same time. But , and I do not know any details there are a couple rules just for Ohtani. He was allowed more time to get to the mound and be ready to pitch. The big one , he has the largest contract in baseball and ALOT of it is paid after he is out of baseball. So a lot of his pay check is outside the level that MLB charges a tax on teams if their yearly payroll is above a certain number. Someone correct my comments because I am not sure on the detailed.
