2026 concerts

Probably should start a 2025 concerts thread, but I'm too lazy, so...

Went to Big Head Todd & the Monsters at Hoyt Sherman tonight. It's always a crapshoot with older bands as time takes its toll, but I was really impressed as he still has an awesome voice and it was an energetic show.

I really wanted to go to that but just couldn't make it work.

Personally I'd be fine with just Friday as well-- I can't wait to see Tyler.

Kacey Musgraves is my daughters 1 of 1 and she's seen her 2 or 3 times already, so she's not missing that, and she also loves Lana Del Ray. So I'll probably wind up doing all 3.

They are both absolutely excellent, and strong women! Your daughter has great taste!

The Marias, Bleachers, Sierra Farrell are also great - but with Tyler, Clairo, and Remi alone (not to mention Royel Otis), that day is our “most bang for the buck” day!

Definitely worth it. They're at Red Rocks this summer and I really, really want to see a concert there, but not sure I want to see the same band twice that soon.

Yeah they play Red Rocks about every year. I've been to RR but I've never seen a show and it's on my bucket list. I had tickets a couple springs ago for the Trey Anastatio Band at Red Rocks but my plans fell through. That would have been an epic setting.

I’m not the world’s biggest country fan, but when Dwight Yoakam was at Hinterland in probably 2018 or so, it was fantastic.
Saw Dwight years ago at "Nightfall on the River" in Des Moines at Simon Estes.
Absolutely awesome show.
He even made a crack about how all the people on the bridges get to watch him for free.

Would 100% see him again.

This is a milestone birthday year for me and I notified my wife I will travel for whatever concerts I see fit. I will certainly be catching this tour at least once.

Been waiting for the announcement on dates for this. Gonna try to make the St Paul show. Would be my first time seeing them.

I took my dad to the Cedar Rapids show in 2009. One of his favorite shows to date. Trent has ALWAYS put on a show and I don't expect anything less than spectacular for this tour.

Going to try to go to multiple shows this time around. Probably not many NIN tours left, if any, after this one with all the other work they do. Need to get the count of NIN concerts I've seen to as close to 20 as possible.

Dwight played the Surf in 2013 and I almost went. I love Dwight, but I was excited about the opener - some dude whose album I'd just stumbled across. It was Sturgill touring behind "High Top Mountain".

Still kick myself over that one. I'm not sure why I didn't go, but it wasn't worthy of missing that.

I posted the new song in the other thread but Mumford and Sons has a new album coming out in March. I assume a massive tour will follow. I plan to make journey to one of those shows if at all possible.

I don’t care about FOB that much but Weezer and OAR have my attention. I LOVE OAR old stuff. Not so sure now that I think about it that I didn’t smoke a few bowls with @Al_4_State (or atleast his brother) back in the day listening to OAR.
Could have been either of us. Just showed my brother this post and he blushed heavily.
