This would be a HUGE get!
Thinking the knee injury might get him put on the sale rack.Wonder if we are going after him? I assume he is going to demand a lot of money and I assume the SEC will be all over him.
I ve seem him play live a few times in high school. Scored close to 50 both games. Was a very good football player/ d1 recruit as well. Plays physically on both endsI meant the "dog" attribution.

this dude is still playing
Only played 9 games this year
His name even sounds like some obscure British naval officer from the Revolutionary War.How in the world does this guy have eligibility left?? Makes Perry Ellis look like a 1 & done!!
Tamin
Rohde (Per CW/BB Sunday pod)
Milan
Jefferson
Buchanan
Heise
Williams
Mulder
Bateman
Toure
Pleta (great unknown, could be a homerun or bust)
That's a top 1/2 Big 12 roster at worst with potential for top 4 seed in KC if the top three guys takes steps (TL/MM/JJ)
I hope i am wrong but after watching every game last year I don't see Jefferson as a better post defender, especially against size. Same on offense, he can create shots 10 feet and out but he will struggle against size the same way he did this year. Love his game but he is a great stretch 4.Tamin

Missing on Cluff likely means Jefferson plays a lot more 5, which I see as a NET positive. Our 5 spot should be more athletic and better rebounding in 25/26 than is was 24/25.
Nice size with a lineup like:
Rohde
Williams/Heise
Milan
Jefferson
Buchanan
Shooting lineup:
Tamin
Rohde
Heise
Milan
Jefferson
I believe we will see some improvement. Jefferson was injured, at this time last season, he missed the entire off-season workouts.I hope i am wrong but after watching every game last year I don't see Jefferson as a better post defender, especially against size. FWIW. Another Cy site is referencing a recent (today) Purdue podcast saying Cluff is a “heavy Iowa State lean.”
I am skeptical at best at this point - but figured I’d post it. It ain’t over til it’s over.
I'd be highly skeptical of that. Cluff is visiting, but he is chasing a bag.FWIW. Another Cy site is referencing a recent (today) Purdue podcast saying Cluff is a “heavy Iowa State lean.”

We need to try and at least match what Purdue is offering for him. Hes someone we should definitely pay big money for but not “stupid” money for.I'd be highly skeptical of that. Cluff is visiting, but he is chasing a bag.
If our bag person is willing to up the ante for him I suppose that Iowa State is still possible...but clearly money is the motivation. I don't even think it's foregone that it's Iowa State or Purdue like a lot of sites are saying. I get the feeling his camp is holding out for a potential 3rd even bigger bag offer to come in.
Define "stupid money." These kids are reportedly making more than an NBA late-first round draft pick at this point, which is completely insane and not sustainable. I'd rather TJ keep at the moneyball game and find cogs for our system that don't involve 19 yo millionaires. We need to try and at least match what Purdue is offering for him. Hes someone we should definitely pay big money for but not “stupid” money for.
A guy on the Purdue site says UK may be entering the mix.I'd be highly skeptical of that. Cluff is visiting, but he is chasing a bag.
