***2025 PGA Tour Thread***

JT just doesn't seem right. Bryson has been inconsistent but JT didn't give him much help.

Hatton has been a stud.

Maybe, but I think right now the bigger issue is there are just more top level guys from Europe. And I don't know if that is going to change much anytime soon. Need the next young (ages like 23-28) American wave to step up.
I also feel like the Americans strategy the past two Cups have been; let’s pick names who have played in the Ryder Cup before, rather than guys who are playing well right now.

Why are Thomas and Morikawa on this team? They had lousy years. And Thomas, predictably ruined Bryson’s length with his approaches. Morikawa ran into a buzzsaw with Fleetwood Mac, but he pretty much gave us 0 chance in that match.

I’m honestly surprised Spieth wasn’t on it.

I can see why they're on the team, but I'm not sure why they didn't start the hottest guys this morning. Griffin and Spaun would have had a better chance, nerves or no nerves.

Maybe these NY fans will eventually turn on the U.S. and start booing them? Watch us lose this last match too.

Imo they got to change that strategy. It was a disaster in Rome. It’s been a disaster this morning.

I also agree with Spaun or Griffin. But I’m ok with the pairings except for Thomas. Give Bryson a steady guy and take advantage of this length. Morikawa and English, just throw them against the best team as a throwaway. Now bench them till Sunday.

Going down 3.5 - 0.5 or 4 - 0 is going to be rough to come back from. Need this last match to turn back.

It’s not the official standings but Rory and Tommy are realistically 2 and 3 in the world.

Morikawa and English seems like an awfully weak match up.

Until the PGA and Ryder Cup get over themselves and figure out a way to get a proper ranking of players - that includes LIV players as well - this will continue to happen. Europe did that. USA did not. It's still the good ole boys club. Say what you want, but I would rather have Patrick Reed and Brooks Koepka than several of the other guys that "qualified" for the team. And the results are showing it. Very disappointing.

Normally I would always agree with Koepka but he didn't have a great year.

Meh, Brooks and Patrick Reed haven't shown me much in the majors (or in general lately). Europe just has better LIV guys

Thomas auto qualified

Uh no. Koepka sucked this year. Reed is not a top 10 American player. What about Andrew Novak, Chris Gotterup, even Keegan himself. They played very well in July-August. The problem is the U.S. pick names not results imo
