I know he’s said it’s not his time yet…but it’s time to just turn this thing over to Tiger for the foreseeable future.

Maybe, but I think right now the bigger issue is there are just more top level guys from Europe. And I don't know if that is going to change much anytime soon. Need the next young (ages like 23-28) American wave to step up.

Russell Henley playing some of the worst golf imaginable this morning. Incredibly bad for a guy ranked #3 in the world right now.

I think it’s more of a mindset issue than a talent issue.
I don't know what mindset the Europeans have that makes typically not clutch guys (Fleetwood, Rory, Hatton, Poulter, etc...) play like prime Sunday Tiger Woods during the Ryder Cup and normally mentally strong American players (Scheffler, Morikawa, Tiger back in the day) completely wilt in the Ryder Cup.

It's not a lack of "caring". You can care a lot and still wilt under the pressure.

It feels like, and sort of always has, that the European players play for each other way more than the US team does. They just feel more like a team.

Agree, which is weird because they're all from different countries so you'd think there would be less comradery. At the end of the day, pretty much every pro golfer lives in Florida though.

It looks to me like US teams are consistently further away from the hole on approaches and putts than EU teams. Getting crushed on short game.

henley is really struggling lol
