***2025-26 CFB Coaching Carousel***

Seeing that Kyle Whittingham is stepping down. Utah has a coach in waiting so it shouldn't be much of a carousel moment but it is a change.

That, uh, doesn't say the word retire anywhere...
"The Athletic notes that Whittingham is not considering this a retirement and is open to other coaching opportunities."

Wouldn't surprise me if does decide to keep coaching if he just take like a LB coach job or something. Still be in it but will a lot less on the plate/pressure.

Hmm. Kenny is fairly direct as a person in every interview. This is a dodge:

He's either headed to Michigan or playing it for a raise. I think he's a great coach but can't quite see that being sellable in Ann Arbor. We know Dillingham is frustrated about the state of NIL in the community down there and has said so publicly.

Michigan people are selling him pretty hard right now so if it gets announced in the next 2 weeks I think it will be fine. If they would have gone fast and grabbed him immediately I think it might have been different

Yea, having some post game celebration drinks with assistant coaches seems to warrant a suspension or a financial penalty.

firing seems strong unless he'd ignored prior warning or there's more.
