***2025-26 CFB Coaching Carousel***

Other than the NIL B1G bucks, why any competent coach would consider the dumpster fire that is Pedo State is beyond me. Guessing this ends up like Sitake and this is someone throwing $hit against the wall to see what sticks, or at least I hope so

So what's left?

*UCLA has reportedly hired (but not announced) the James Madison coach
*James Madison has reportedly hired (but not announced) Billy Napier
*UConn looking at Jason Candle (Toledo)
*Memphis looking at Charles Huff (Southern Miss)

*Coastal Carolina has an interim for their bowl game
*Ohio has an interim, and everyone's trying to figure out what happened there (HC "on leave" for an undetermined period of time)

*Tulane
*Washington State
*Toledo (if Candle leaves)
*Southern Miss (if Huff leaves)

He’s gotten mentioned for a few openings.

Our new guy has not for what it’s worth.
I’ll give JP the benefit of the doubt here. JP has a proven track record of hiring great coaches. So I don’t mind Rogers flying under the radar

I think he looks for a certain personality type. We’ll see if JR fits the mold. Hope it leads to winning football.

That leaves 6 openings at the moment:
*Memphis looking at Charles Huff (Southern Miss)
*Coastal Carolina has an interim for their bowl game
*Ohio has an interim, and everyone's trying to figure out what happened there (HC "on leave" for an undetermined period of time)
*Tulane
*Washington State
*Toledo

Plus 1 possible domino:
*Southern Miss (if Huff leaves)

I think Cignetti is a GREAT coach, and Indiana just might be the BEST team in CFB this season. Personally, I think they should be ranked # 01 (at the moment).

That being said, if Matt Campbell left ISU for any other team and took as many transfers with him as Cignetti took with him from JMU to IU, this board would crash.
Damnit!

Glad I was right about Indiana being #01 back in October.

Wish I was wrong about Campbell leaving with so many players rumored to be leaving at this time too. At least, the board has not crashed yet.

Let's Go State!

Am I the only one who thinks that Kalen de Boer could be fired if Alabama got hammered again at the CFP? They got lucky being able to sneak into the playoffs but they have been underwhelming
