Saban kind of questions whether LSU and Florida are the best jobs right now in college football.

Freudian! It’s an SEC team. They are hiding something.

It’s also losing to the bottom of the big ten that’s the real issue. If it was a losing streak against the good teams that’s just business as usual and they are probably still going to the playoffs.
They lost to Oregon, then NW and UCLA who aren't anywhere near the bottom of the Big 10 this year.

I get what you're saying, those kind of losses are probably unacceptable at Penn St, but its not like they lost to Wisconsin or Purdue.

UCLA and NW were at the bottom of the Big10 when they played PSU. While they have won some games since, it hasn’t helped the stigma of those losses.

You do realize what UCLA’s record was before Penn state right? Same for NW. they are 100% near the bottom of the big ten when they played. There is no real difference for Penn state between those 4 teams.

They are both 3-2 in the Big 10, so the losses don't look nearly as bad as they did at the time. I'm old enough to remember when ISU looked like a playoff team also then lost 3 in a row. The season is fluid and things change.

So is Iowa’s loss to ISU getting worse now that ISU is losing?

And again at the time they were horrible losses and since then they are still really bad losses for Penn state. Because it’s Penn state and they both don’t and shouldn’t lose to those caliber of teams with their caliber of talent.

Ok, I dont know why you're arguing with me because I agree they are both bad losses from a Penn St perspective.

That's not the topic of this conversation though, I simply said they didn't lose to bottom of the barrel Big 10 programs, that would be Wiscinsin, Purdue, and maybe Rutgers.
