Wet ring for the shotputters is making it rough.
USA men finish 1, 2, 4 -- Crouser 3 golds in a row.

Yeah feel like swimming hasn't been able to quite get there. Women seem to have done better than the men but lots of close 2nds. Sucks we lost the 4 x 400 relay on the track. That group set the WR in qualifying.Americans just can't find gold in the pool. Keep coming up just short.
Yeah I just love how we train these athletes so they can come back and beat us on the world stage.Former Texas sprinter wins the 100.
We keep dropping an anchor the last 20 meters or so. Don't know what's going on with the training or what?Americans just can't find gold in the pool. Keep coming up just short.

Love the Australian silver medalist holding up Ledecky's arm like a boxing/wrestling ref.
She looked slow off the start so that definitely makes senseRichardson's start was by far the worst of any finalist, just based on reaction time.
Alfred was 0.14. Richardson was 0.22. Everyone else was 0.13-0.16.
I thought I saw that too! Good eyeThere was a missed false start in lane 8 in that women’s final. She twitched before the gun, definitely should have had a restart there. Might have been enough to throw off Richardson’s concentration as it happened in her periphery.
