***2024 CFB Week 4 Games Thread***

Mizzou maybe, they aren’t a real top 10 team but what 5/6 big 12 teams do you think are beating Penn State? Not saying they can’t but 5/6 is way too many
If Penn. State plays like they did against Bowling Green, then ya, 5 or 6 teams could beat them. Looking at their schedule they could easily go 11-1 or 10-2. Not much there after Ohio State and a trip out to USC. Lets see how they do against Illinois this coming week, to see if they are something special or just a normal Penn State team that likes to pee down their leg in big games.

Just like Big 12 basketball, Big 12 Football is going to be very well balanced. I am drawing blank for the term typically used to describe it but everybody is going to beat each other up...which is not good news to get 2 teams in the playoffs unless 2 teams go undefeated and play in the Big Championship game.
Mediocre is the term sadly for this year's Big 12 football. If Big 12 basketball, gauntlet is the term.

I went to bed around 10-ish, and just caught up on Twitter this morning.

I'm sorry...what exactly happened in the Big 12 last night?
It was an awesome day of football

The B12 has no super teams, there is not an Ohio State, Georgia, Alabama or even Tenn. in the league, but they do have a lot of very good teams compared to other conferences. How good is the B10 after to take out OSU? That this point in the season, no one knows how good a Penn. State or Utah can be, hell if ISU keeps playing like we did yesterday, we could be one of those teams.

Watching the highlights of the WVU/KU game and I was pretty shocked to see WVU's stadium only half full. I get that they were 1-2 coming into this game, but it's amazing how early apathy has set in. Just hope they're pretty demoralized by the time we travel there

My bad. I worked a 14 and 1/2 hour shift yesterday so was just going by seeing final score.
No you’re good. If you didn’t get to watch it then absolutely it looks like a hell of a game. Utah isn’t unbeatable even with Rising, but will be very difficult. Their defense is nasty either way. Without Rising though they are definitely vulnerable. Wish our game was in Ames but long way to go before worrying about that one.

the stadium was pretty full until the 90 minute rain delay. Pretty much everyone with kids headed home as there was no way to know when the storms would end.

and to be honest, after choking against Pitt for the 2nd consecutive time on the road, NB is lucky anyone showed at all.

LOL BYU

This game is exactly why ISU blowing out BYU last year was awesome. This is a terrifying stadium at night

Late to responding, but I was at that game and that win doesn’t get enough credit.

We jumped them early, but BYU scored to make it 10-7, very much still a game. You could tell the crowd was ready to pounce once they smelled blood. But our guys played with so much poise, and it was over at halftime.

Plus their record in home night games is something ridiculous, so I was super proud of our guys that night.
